The ranking was produced at a meeting of the appraisal committee of 27 experts held between January 15-17 at the Xinghua City of Jiangsu under the auspices of China Society of Fiction. Léi Dá (雷达) is its President with Wú Yìqìn (吴义勤), Shī Zhànjūn (施战军) and Wáng Chūnlín (王春林) as his deputies.
